Work package 3 - Local project management

Duration: 11/2002 – 10/2006

Work package 3 comprises the coordination of local work in all project areas and the delivery of the required information, documents and results to the alpine project level.

Some project partners take over the leadership of work packages and carry thus a particular responsibility. They care for the commissioning of appropriate subcontractors for their work packages, elaborate the fine planning in accordance with the lead partner and support the external experts in charge in the implementation process.

All project partners provide for their area local contributions to all work packages and ensure in this way that the lead partner can meet the "overall responsibility" (see work package 2) towards EU bodies. If necessary the project partners charge external experts to elaborate specific topics on local level.

On alpine project level all local contributions are synthesized into a common result. This produces a genuine community achievement of the project group. Regional coordinators are supporting this integration process.
